Ramón, Assertive, Reveals What is Going to Happen with Vinícius and Arabia: Guaranteed
The journalist assures that they'll make another attempt this summer to try to finalize the Brazilian's incorporation from Madrid
Ramón de Mon, a renowned journalist covering Real Madrid, has made his opinions clear on one of the hottest topics in the Madrid environment.
In an interview with Defensa Central, he referred to the interest of Saudi Arabia in Vinícius Junior. The Brazilian remains a top target for the Asian country, which has already offered astronomical figures to secure his services.
"Saudi Arabia is going to push for Vinícius's transfer. That is guaranteed," Ramón de Mon assured. According to him, the contacts haven't ceased.
"The offer of one billion for five seasons is still on the table. That means 200 million euros net per year," something that is very difficult to refuse.
There were approaches
Ramón also confirmed that the player's entourage has already had approaches with Saudi Arabia: "There were contacts between Vinícius and Saudi Arabia. This summer, the story will repeat itself. Vinícius has a contract with Real Madrid until 2027 and, although he hasn't committed, he hasn't closed the door either," the journalist stated.
However, Real Madrid has a clear stance on this matter. "The club is protected with a 1,000 million euro clause. But it will also gauge his emotional and sporting state before making decisions, whether to renew him or, in the worst case, sell him."
Despite Saudi ambition, Ramón believes it will be difficult for Vinícius to leave Madrid in 2025: "It is difficult for Vinícius, at 25 years old, to make the leap to Saudi Arabia. But it is still unsettling that he only has a contract until 2027. He is a key player for Real Madrid."
Finally, Ramón pointed out that the club plans to make him a renewal offer. "Madrid will leave a proposal on the table this summer. What happens will depend on the decisions Vinícius makes."
Saudi Arabia, in search of its star
Saudi Arabia wants to make Vinícius the face of its football project and the 2034 World Cup. With 1,000 million euros on the table, the country doesn't give up. However, Real Madrid's determination and the Brazilian's relationship with the club will be key in this matter.
For now, Vinícius's future seems secure at Santiago Bernabéu, but Saudi interest will not easily fade away.
