Ramón de Mon Reveals the Fine Print of Asencio's Renewal: 'In Summer...'

One of the players who has caused the most excitement among Madridists on a general level is the homegrown center-back Raúl Asencio. This is due to the excellent performance he has shown since his participation in the first team and because he has established himself as a full-fledged center-back. However, there has been much discussion about his renewal, which for many includes an exorbitant contract.

However, Ramón Álvarez de Mon, a collaborator on Defensa Central's YouTube channel, would provide important information about this.  It was all through Rubén Martín's channel, where he said that in the summer they will talk about his contract. This could completely change the outlook, as I say that for some it is a senseless and very dangerous contract.

Obviously, the renewal of this player seems to be unequivocal and necessary for what Madrid requires today. However, not under any terms, and that is why Florentino Pérez and the board of directors will sit down to negotiate with the player.

For many, Raúl Asencio's contract in his renewal is an absolute outrage for a footballer who has recently joined the first team. Even for some, the fact of extending a similar contract to a homegrown player is quite a risky bet.

However, the club itself knows perfectly well that these negotiations still need to be carried out, and all this will be done until the summer.  In fact, Ramón himself clarifies that the renewal clause is extended to homegrown players when they play in the first team.

The point of this information is to try to put an end to all the assumptions among Madridists and stop worrying so much about this.  Mainly, to let the board work and avoid misunderstandings.

The board of the white team knows perfectly well that a contract like this might not be good and they will have to negotiate the appropriate conditions. Additionally, the player seems willing to stay at Real Madrid as long as he has the possibility of becoming an icon and an important player.
