Real Madrid and Liverpool: Top Competition for an 18-Year-Old Jewel, the Dutch Yoro
The young jewel for which Real Madrid seeks to fight against Liverpool to secure his transfer
With several positions to reinforce, Real Madrid is searching for players for upcoming markets. The defense, despite the presence of Rüdiger or Alaba, is one of the positions the club is most interested in strengthening. Although the club had other interests for this position, the plans have changed.
Jorrel Hato is now the player Real Madrid is most interested in to reinforce the defense. The young Dutchman has shown more than impressive performance at Ajax, where he is one of the key players. However, Liverpool has also shown interest in transfering Hato, being the obstacle for the Meringue team in this operation.
Having established contact with the player, the English team has gotten ahead of the Meringues. Nevertheless, Florentino Pérez doesn't seek to easily lose such a promising player as Hato. With both clubs willing to do anything to transfer the Dutchman, it only remains to wait until next summer to determine his destination.
An unmissable transfer
Being only 18 years old, Hato has managed to dazzle several of the biggest clubs in Europe. Being compared to Leny Yoro is just a testament to his great ability as a central defender. Additionally, his ability to play as a left winger and even as a midfielder provides versatility that makes his transfer much more attractive.
Despite having a contract until 2028 with Ajax, the player's destiny points to a departure in the next market. Given the injuries and the situation the Real Madrid defense is experiencing, the club has seen Hato as the ideal player to elevate the level of the defense.
Even so, the presence and interest of Liverpool have presented a significant problem. Having lost Leny Yoro to Manchester United, Madrid doesn't intend to let another young central defender slip away to the Premier League.
Waiting for the summer
With several months ahead before the next market, Real Madrid has time to plan this signing. With the experience gained from past seasons, the club is fully confident that Liverpool won't manage to finalize Hato's transfer.
