Real Madrid Could Increase Bernabéu's 80,000 Spectators for This Reason

Bernabéu could increase its more than 80,000 seats for a more than justifiable reason

Real Madrid knows perfectly well that it is one of the largest institutions globally when it comes to clubs. However, it seems that they have now set a new goal, which they want to achieve by 2030. This could lead to a considerable increase in the more than 80,000 spectators who attend Santiago Bernabéu.

It would all be about being able to host the grand final of the 2030 World Cup, which will be held in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. Therefore, the intention of Florentino Pérez and the board of directors would be to increase this number of seats to compete with Barcelona and Morocco. The white stadium is definitely the best in the world when it comes to innovation, so this would be a checkmate for all the others.

Florentino Pérez always has a very futuristic vision of what he wants for this Real Madrid. For this reason, thinking that increasing these seats could give him the World Cup final is a more than safe bet.

A Compelling Reason

It is known that Real Madrid regularly has quite prolific stadium attendance with the large number of fans it has. Therefore, thinking about this increase, besides potentially benefiting them for the World Cup final, also makes sense in the long term.

Right now it has just over 80,000 seats in the merengue stadium for fans to enjoy Real Madrid's matches. However, when it comes to a World Cup final, in which Spain could reach, it makes even more sense.

However, they still have to consider whether it is feasible or not to make these improvements in the Madridist venue right now. Some of which were not entirely planned, but surely had as a contingency plan in a battle like this.

We'll See What They Decide

For now, all we can do is wait to see what the board's final decision will be. However, considering each and every point, increasing the seats seems to be the ideal option. Whether or not it is for the World Cup final.
