Real Madrid has 3 signings scheduled for 2026, they are already working to secure them

The summer transfer window has officially closed its doors, but this hasn't stopped Real Madrid. Looking to finish consolidating its squad, the club already has three signings lined up for next summer. According to Defensa Central, these transfers would be for Ibrahima Konaté, Nico Paz, and another midfielder such as Enzo Fernández or Kees Smit.

The signings made by the club throughout the summer have proven to be more than successful. Players like Huijsen and Carreras, above all, have quickly established themselves as key pieces of the team. Even so, the club believes there's room to keep improving an already very talented squad.

Of the three moves the club is looking to make in 2026, Ibrahima Konaté is one of the most important. The Liverpool center-back, after rejecting all contract renewal offers from the English club, has entered the final year of his contract. A situation similar to that of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who signed for Real Madrid this same summer.

The squad for 2026

Dean Huijsen's signing helped, above all, to reinforce and renew a backline that has gone through difficult seasons. At 20 years old, Huijsen has strengthened a position that would be fully consolidated with Konaté. The 26-year-old Frenchman can bring his extensive experience and defensive solidity to make the merengue backline a true wall.

Meanwhile, Nico Paz has earned the opportunity to return to Real Madrid after his great debut season at Como. Despite the offers the 20-year-old player received this summer, all of them were rejected. This is because, given the buy-back clause that Real Madrid has, the player trusts he will wear white again next season.

Nico's return would raise the quality of a midfield that would benefit from another signing. Enzo Fernández, Vitinha, Rodri, Mac Allister, and Kees Smit are some of the players on the team's radar. Although their value and contracts make their signing complicated, Real Madrid is clear that it must make a star signing for the midfield.

Real Madrid's plans

Although Real Madrid's current squad is very solid, this isn't enough for the club. Always in search of perfection, the summer of 2026 is shaping up to be a historic date for Madridism. After the major signings made during this summer, the team would finish consolidating its project next summer.
