Real Madrid officially announces the players drafted for the Club World Cup.
Dani Carvajal, Éder Militao, the new signings, and eleven academy players are included in the list
Throughout Wednesday afternoon, Real Madrid released the squad list for the Club World Cup to be held in the United States. Xabi Alonso has drafted a total of 34 footballers, including the entire first team—even those who are injured—and eleven reserve team players. Among the most notable names are Dani Carvajal and Éder Militao, who could return during the tournament after their long absences due to injury.
Real Madrid will train on Friday, June 13 at Valdebebas and will depart for the United States this coming Saturday, June 14. The team will be based in Miami, which will serve as their operations base until the round of 16 of the Club World Cup. Vinícius, Arda Güler, and Andriy Lunin will join later, as they are currently with their national teams.
Meanwhile, the only players ruled out for this event are Ferland Mendy and Endrick, who haven't been able to recover from their respective injuries.
Real Madrid already preparing for the Club World Cup
Real Madrid will make their debut in the Club World Cup on June 18 against Al-Hilal, in a match to be played in Miami at 9:00 p.m. It will be the first of three matches in a group stage that also includes two other clubs: Pachuca and RB Salzburg.
Real Madrid's second match in the Club World Cup will be on June 21 against Pachuca from Mexico, held in Charlotte and scheduled for 9:00 p.m. The team will close out their participation in the group stage against Salzburg. The match will take place at 3:00 a.m. in Philadelphia.

If Real Madrid finish as group leaders, they'll play the round of 16 on July 1 in Miami. If they finish in second place, their match will be on June 30 in Orlando at 9:00 p.m. It's worth remembering that the team will face one of the qualified teams from Group G, which includes clubs such as Manchester City and Juventus, among others.
