The Real Madrid Player, First Team Player, Who Will Miss Champions League's Next Game
He was shown the yellow card against Atalanta and won't be able to play at Santiago Bernabéu against RB Salzburg
Real Madrid emerged victorious from Bergamo with a crucial triumph over Atalanta. The Whites won 2-3 thanks to Mbappé, Vinícius and Bellingham.
The start was hopeful, with Real Madrid taking control and Kylian Mbappé sharp enough to find the the net after ten minutes. The Frenchman, who was unable to finish the first half due to muscle problems in his hamstring, scored a goal.
After the game, Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that it wasn't serious and that Kylian Mbappé will undergo tests in Madrid. However, he is ruled out for next Saturday's game against Rayo Vallecano.

Lucas Vázquez's absence on the seventh day
Another player who won't be there, but for the penultimate round of the UEFA Champions League, will be Lucas Vázquez. The Galician was shown a yellow card in a clash with an Atalanta player and won't be able to play against RB Salzburg.
Real Madrid will host the Austrians at Santiago Bernabéu on January 22nd. RB Salzburg have won just one of their six Champions League games and lost to PSG (0-3) in the current round.
Lucas Vázquez's game
A complex encounter for Curtis. He had in front of him the worst possible dance partner. A fired-up Ademola Lookman who had been asking for war from the first minute of the match.
Lucas Vázquez suffered. The Galician tried to anticipate and also hold, but the tactics were deactivated by the Nigerian. As the minutes passed, the full-back gained confidence and minimized damage, especially with the help of Brahim and Ceballos.

However, Lookman came back to tickle him in the second half and eventually found the net. The Atalanta winger, in a great move, beat Thibaut Courtois with a low shot at the near post. The effort went under the legs of Lucas Vázquez.
However, Real Madrid were able to win against Atalanta and get the three points. Carlo Ancelotti will miss Lucas Vázquez against RB Salzburg, although the position will be well covered by a Fede Valverde who always delivers.
