Real Madrid wants another Ramos alongside Asensio and considers paying the clause

The executives led by Florentino Pérez are looking to secure the signing of a center-back in the summer of 2025.

Judging by everything that has happened this season, Real Madrid's board of directors will make several moves in the transfer market next summer. The Merengue leaders have modified, throughout the current soccer season, a roadmap that now includes very different names from those at the beginning of this season.

One of those modifications is closely related to the situation in the center of the defense. While it is true that Carlo Ancelotti has definitively recovered Antonio Rüdiger and David Alaba, the Reggiolo coach has needed the incorporation of Raúl Asencio. The Canarian '35' arrived from La Fábrica at a moment of extreme need for center-backs.

Because the young Real Madrid Castilla defender had to pair up with Aurélien Tchouaméni, whose natural position is defensive midfielder. Now that the Austrian '4' is back in the Madrid sports discipline, the Ruan midfielder can reclaim his place and leave Raúl Asencio as the second center-back.

But only in the Champions League, since Carlo Ancelotti has given him rest in the latest LaLiga commitments. David Alaba, in need of minutes and eager to regain competitive sensations, has been part of the matches against Girona and Real Betis... and everything suggests he would also be against Rayo Vallecano.

Unbeatable Pair

In any case, it seems undeniable that Real Madrid needs one more center-back for the upcoming seasons. Carlo Ancelotti's repeated request for signings since Nacho Fernández's departure as a free agent could finally be addressed during the 2025 summer market. The scouts led by Juni Calafat have identified a very specific target to expand the roster of center-backs.

The first details of his transfer have been resonating in the Merengue orbit for some time: a release clause set at 50 million pounds. In exchange, Real Madrid would have to pay about 60 million euros, which the white executives would consider acceptable. Especially if Raúl Asencio's presence is reinforced by the arrival of Dean Huijsen.

The Spanish center-back, of Dutch origin, would be Real Madrid's declared target for the 2025 summer market. Despite the insistence on William Saliba or the occasional appearances of Castello Lukeba, the signing of the cherry player has become an absolute priority for the Merengue leaders. His growth this season in the Premier League, under the tactical command of Andoni Iraola, makes it very clear that the AFC Bournemouth defender has a great trajectory in the elite.

At just 19 years old, Dean Huijsen has captured Real Madrid's attention. The information published by "talkSPORT" places the white team as his main offeror, marking the prelude to a possible saga in the summer market. Real Madrid needs a young and high-quality center-back, and Dean Huijsen seems the most suitable to join the defenders already at Santiago Bernabéu.
