Madrid in 'War' with Arabia and Not because of Vinícius, Fight against Al-Nassr
The intense battle brewing between Real Madrid and Al Nassr for a young star
For several seasons now, Real Madrid has focused on transfering young talents. Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo Goes are just some of the players who have managed to establish themselves in the Meringue team. Now, after several months of studying his transfer, the club is ready to begin the operation for another promising player.
Jhon Durán has managed to dazzle Real Madrid with his unparalleled talent at Aston Villa. However, the Colombian forward is also sought after by Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia. Planning a serious move for the player, the Meringue team will have to face off against Arabia again to succeed in this operation.
After Vinícius's refusal to accept the offer from the Arabs, Real Madrid is confident in securing the transfer of the Colombian forward. Even so, with the months remaining until the next market, the club is facing an operation that will take a long time.
Another battle against Arabia
Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival at Al Nassr in 2023 demonstrated the immense power of Saudi Arabia. Through million-dollar offers to players and clubs, Arab soccer has managed to transfer several of the best stars from all over Europe. However, the Arabs' focus has shifted, now seeking to transfer the greatest promises of this sport.
This is what has led Al Nassr and Real Madrid to set their sights on Jhon Durán, a young forward of just 21 years old. Scoring 12 goals this season in 1,019 minutes played, the Colombian has managed to showcase the enormous talent he has in his cleats.
Despite the strikers the merengue team already has, Durán's arrival would further consolidate the club's offense. While Al Nassr's offer might be tempting, the white club trusts that Durán will secure the future of his career.
The fight for the next market
With a contract until 2030, signing Durán will not be easy for the next market. Even so, Real Madrid doesn't want to miss the opportunity to secure his services and win this operation against Al Nassr.
