Real Madrid's Response on Carvajal, Militao, and the Club World Cup: 'The...'

The fate awaiting Carvajal and Militao with their respective recoveries has been revealed by Real Madrid

This season has once again seen several injuries to key players for Real Madrid. Starting with Militao, who after injuring his knee last season, suffered the same injury this campaign. Being out for the rest of the matches, Carvajal suffered a similar fate, getting injured in the match against Villarreal.

Leaving the club's defense quite affected by these injuries, both Militao and Carvajal have worked on their recoveries. The progress they have made has caused speculation about their possible presence in the Club World Cup. However, Real Madrid was firm in their response: "The path they have to travel is still long".

Through this stance, Real Madrid made it clear that they will not take risks in the recoveries of Militao and Carvajal. Aware of the severity of their injuries and the time they need to recover, Real Madrid is not looking to hasten their return to the field.

The Situation of Militao and Carvajal

At 27 and 33 years old respectively, Militao and Carvajal are essential players for Real Madrid. Consolidating a defense that has brought much joy, their injuries were a significant problem for Real Madrid to solve. Leaving the club with few options, it had to find a way to cover the gap left by Militao and Carvajal.

While Madrid's performance has improved over the months, the presence of Militao and Carvajal is still missed. Despite the optimism of seeing both in the Club World Cup, Real Madrid has taken care to clarify the situation.

Eder Militao could reach the Club World Cup but only aims to be in the team's dynamics, not to play any match. On the other hand, Carvajal suffered a much more severe injury for which Real Madrid has opted to be more cautious with his return.

The Exclusion from the Club World Cup

Although it would have been phenomenal to see Carvajal and Militao in the Club World Cup, the reality is that they will only be able to join the team. Being players of utmost importance, Real Madrid prefers to have them at their best level to dominate throughout the next season.
