Jorge Mendes's Response to Real Madrid Regarding Lamine Yamal: You Must Take Him Out...

One of the most outstanding young players this season is Lamine Yamal. The young Barcelona player dazzled everyone with his talent during the last European Championship.  This led several clubs, including Real Madrid, to show special interest in acquiring the young Spaniard's services.

The Merengue team, in particular, has constantly asked Jorge Mendes about Yamal's situation. This ultimately led the agent himself to give a blunt response: "You must get it out of your heads". Words that completely rule out Yamal's departure from Barcelona.

Similarly, this comment made it clear to Real Madrid that signing Yamal is practically impossible. While this has been a slight disappointment, it doesn't greatly affect the talented squad that the Merengue team has.

Mendes's No

At just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal continues to amaze everyone with his level. Real Madrid, in particular, saw in the Spaniard a player with the potential to be a Merengue star. Having managed to sign Cules in the past, like the Figo case, the White club had some confidence regarding this operation.

However, Jorge Mendes's words regarding Yamal's situation at Barcelona were clear.  Completely ruling out his departure, Real Madrid has no choice but to desist from a signing that would have greatly affected the Cules.

Even so, the fact that this transfer can't currently take place doesn't rule out a possibility for the future. While seeing Lamine in white would be a hard blow for Barcelona, this is an operation that, for now, will have to wait.

It's Only a Matter of Time

With a squad brimming with talent, it's evident that Real Madrid doesn't need a player like Lamine Yamal. Although this is a reality, the club still trusts that the time will come when Yamal realizes he must leave Barcelona. This is so he can take a truly important step in his career before stagnating.
