They reveal the price Real Madrid would have to pay for the trending goalkeeper in Euro.

The goalkeeper who has impressed Europe could be part of Real Madrid due to his unbelievable value

It's no surprise that for the next season, Real Madrid has a clear intention to strengthen several of its positions. The defense, the full-backs, and the midfield are the positions that are in the spotlight to receive reinforcements during the summer. However, the situation with the goalkeeping position has also led the team to look for a goalkeeper.

While Thibaut Courtois will keep his place at Real Madrid, Andriy Lunin might leave during the summer. Seeking more prominence, Lunin would leave for the team that presents him with the best offer and project. Leaving a clear gap in the squad, Madrid has set its sights on Mallorca's goalkeeper, Román, to cover Lunin's possible departure.

Despite his great performances with Mallorca, Leo Román hasn't managed to secure a starting position in the team. A situation that has inclined Román to seek an exit during the summer, taking advantage of his clause of around 12 million euros.

Real Madrid's opportunity

Returning to Mallorca this season after a loan to Real Oviedo, Leo Román has managed to shine in every opportunity given to him. Despite only being able to play 720 minutes this season, Román has made the most of every second. Conceding 13 goals and keeping 2 clean sheets, Román has proven his worth.

His performances against Barcelona and Real Madrid, in particular, have showcased his great talent as a goalkeeper. With both clubs making 79 shots, of which 26 were on target, he has only conceded 3 goals in 23 saves made during the matches.

An impressive statistic for a Román who has a contract until 2026, which he doesn't intend to fulfill. At 24 years old, Madrid could pay his clause to secure the future of the goalkeeping position, which, for now, belongs to Courtois.

Europe's star

Seeking better opportunities in his career, Real Madrid is the best he will have to fully establish himself. While Courtois will remain the starting goalkeeper for the next season, Román is old enough to wait for his moment.
