Ridiculous and Embarrassing: That's How Atlético Fans Acted Last Night Against Real Madrid
Atlético's fans appear more self-conscious than ever, and the most recent embarrassment proves it
In the world of soccer, rivalries are something that is present every day, even if there are no matches in between. In this sense, it seems that one of the biggest, like that of Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid, has left an unbelievable scene. All of this is due to the most recent images from Atlético de Madrid's last match.
Specifically, some fans have been seen arriving to support their team with an Arsenal scarf, in reference to the Champions League match of the whites. This speaks of a fanbase not only obsessed with the main rival but even feeling inferior. Something that for many Madrid fans is not new and, in reality, was even to be expected.

Supporting a team like this, which is foreign, in a match that has nothing to do with it, speaks very poorly of certain fans. Moreover, it seems they are much more focused on what is happening with Real Madrid than on their current situation.
Another Embarrassment to the List
Meanwhile, from the fans and the club itself, we have seen a considerable amount of outrageous acts over the last few years. Direct attacks on Real Madrid footballers, even completely denigrating the institution.
However, very few would have claimed that this type of thing could be seen in what is said to be one of the best fanbases in Europe. This is because, instead of focusing 100% on their team's performance, they seem to have their minds also on the Madrid knockout stage.
The white team has one of the most challenging tasks in its history trying to come back from a 3-0 deficit. Something that, if it happens, could be an authentic celebration for Madrid fans and a funeral for Atlético fans.
We'll See If There's an Epic
If there is a comeback like never seen before at the Bernabéu tomorrow night, this could remain as an irreplaceable scene. Something that surely many Atlético fans fear and will go to sleep with that fear until tomorrow.
