Rodrygo already knows Real Madrid's conditions for his departure from the club

When everything pointed to Rodrygo staying another season at Real Madrid, Manchester City's interest has resurfaced. Following Jack Grealish's recent departure, the English club has once again set its sights on the Brazilian winger. According to what we know at Defensa Central, Real Madrid would accept his departure if the player wishes so and with an offer of €100 million.

Josep Guardiola hasn't hidden his desire to have a player he considers essential for his project at City. Meanwhile, Rodrygo, since he doesn't have Xabi Alonso's trust, doesn't view his departure negatively. Even so, during Real Madrid's latest training sessions, Rodrygo has tried to regain Xabi's trust.

The player has made it clear on several occasions that his desire is to stay at Real Madrid. That's why, in the face of his possible departure, the club seeks to be completely sure. If Rodrygo openly says he wants to leave, the club won't oppose his decision.

Manchester City's return

Before the 2024 Champions League final, Rodrygo Goes gave a clear nod to Manchester City. Proclaiming the English as the best team in the world, these words have remained relevant up to this transfer window. Although Liverpool was a possible destination a few weeks ago, its recent signings have ruled out Rodrygo's arrival.

At 24 years old, Rodrygo Goes has greatly improved his level at Real Madrid. Since his arrival in 2019, the Brazilian has been a great partner in attack for Vinícius. However, his 14 goals and 11 assists last season show a decline in his level.

With a value of €90 million according to Transfermarkt, Real Madrid is seeking €100 million to let Rodrygo leave. Since he is young and under contract until 2028, the club considers this value more than appropriate. Even so, Manchester City still hasn't submitted any offer for Rodrygo.

Rodrygo's decision

Despite having everything in place to leave Real Madrid, this is a decision Rodrygo must make. The Brazilian could stay with the team to fight for a starting spot. Or, Rodrygo could decide to leave to join a club that would guarantee him plenty of playing time and where he would have the coach's trust.
