Rodrygo's response: he's rumored to leave Real Madrid and breaks his silence

The Brazilian wanted to put an end to the rumors about his possible departure from Madrid after weeks of a lot of noise

Real Madrid face their debut in the Club World Cup this Wednesday, in the match that will pit them against Al-Hilal starting at 9:00 p.m. (Spanish time zone), and everything is ready in the Merengue ranks to enjoy the "new" FIFA tournament. Xabi Alonso's debut only increases expectations within the team.

One of the main doubts at Madrid, which could be solved in the World Cup, is the situation surrounding Rodrygo Goes. The winger, who hasn't played a match in almost two months, has been singled out for his weak season and, amid countless rumors, has been linked with several teams, especially from the Premier League.

But the footballer hasn't spoken... until now. Rodrygo, according to the newspaper "Marca" days ago, already communicated a decision about his future to the club, stating that he wanted to stay at Madrid, and now he has "sold" that message in a public and noticeable way. This is evident on his social media, where he has "said" that he's back.

The Brazilian has reacted to a post on the social network X in which it was stated that Rodrygo was "ready," sharing it and using several white hearts. A gesture that can be interpreted as the end of an absurd controversy that has been very much alive for some time. It seems the debate is over.

Xabi supports Rodrygo

Xabi Alonso, who appeared this Tuesday at a press conference to analyze the clash against Al-Hilal, was asked about Rodrygo and revealed that he had a conversation with him, although he didn't want to go into detail about that talk with the player, who has a contract with Madrid until 2028 and whose release clause is 1 billion euros.

"I can share up to a point. I know the end of the season wasn't easy for him, but he took some important time, reset, he also didn't go with the national team, and I see him eager to enjoy himself and contribute. He's a player with enormous quality, we've shared things and now it's time to put them into practice," said Xabi, who could, given the likely absence of Kylian Mbappé—he has a fever and didn't train this Tuesday—opt for the "11" to start in tonight's match.
