The Draw for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League 2025 Takes Place This Friday, February 21 at 12:00 PM. The teams will learn their path to the grand final, which will be played at the Allianz Arena in Munich on May 31.

Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Atlético de Madrid are already in this phase and are awaiting their opponents. The competition continues to deliver surprises and unexpected eliminations.

Real Madrid's Participation

In the round of 32, very strong clubs have been eliminated. Manchester City, AC Milan, and Atalantafailed to advance. This demonstrates the high demands of the tournament.

Real Madrid surpassed the play-off phase with a great performance against Manchester City. Carlo Ancelotti's team won with an aggregate of 6-3 after winning 2-3 at the Etihad and sealing the tie with a 3-1 at the Bernabéu. Club Brugge and Feyenoord have been the great revelations. Both eliminated Italian teams. The Belgian team knocked out Atalanta and Feyenoord eliminated AC Milan.

Benfica will also be in the round of 16 after eliminating AS Monaco. Meanwhile, Sporting CP fell to Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are the German representatives in the round of 16. A duel between Atlético and the Bavarians could occur.

PSG is also still in the competition. Luis Enrique's team could face Liverpool or FC Barcelona.
