Siro López explodes over refereeing and points to the culprit within Real Madrid

The well-known journalist spoke about the injustice suffered by the Madridist club at RCDE Stadium.

It's Monday and there's still talk about the controversy that arose in Saturday's match between Espanyol and Real Madrid. The Madrid team, still the leader of LaLiga, lost three very important points after a narrow defeat in Barcelona.

The goal for the blue and white team was scored by Carlos Romero, the same player who made a reckless tackle on Kylian Mbappé. However, Muñiz Ruiz and Iglesias Villanueva decided not to send off the player, who ended up deciding the match.

The defeat puts Real Madrid one point behind Atlético de Madrid in the week when both teams face each other. Additionally, Barça also closed the gap with those from Concha Espina after their victory (1-0) against Deportivo Alavés.

What does Siro López think about what happened at the RCDE Stadium?

Siro López spoke on 'El Tertulión' of Cadena COPE about the refereeing that Real Madrid received against RCD Espanyol. The well-known journalist left, without a doubt, one of the clearest opinions of the entire program.

"There are people who think that most of them are crooks", commented the panelist regarding the referees.

"No one can make me think that what happened yesterday, which everyone saw. It turns out that the one on the field and the one in the VAR didn't see it. As much as I want to be credulous, I have to think that there's a group that are crooks", explained Siro López.

About the replys from 'Real Madrid TV'

Additionally, Siro López spoke about the videos that Real Madrid TV usually broadcasts, in which they talk about the poor work done by the referees. "The videos are taking a toll", he commented.

"I've been saying it for a long time, and I think Real Madrid is paying for the videos. That's why I said from the beginning that Madrid shouldn't have made those videos and it's taking a toll. It's taking a toll", concluded Siro López.

These words were joined by those of Isaac Fouto, who didn't quite agree with Siro López's opinion. "I find it very inappropriate to use the word crook on your part, Siro. I find it very inappropriate", he explained.
