The starting eleven Xabi Alonso has in mind to face Juve, Mbappé bomb
The coach would not propose major changes to a list that includes Mbappé to overcome Juventus
Real Madrid will face Juventus of Turin this Tuesday, starting at 9:00 p.m. (Spanish time), in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup and Xabi Alonso knows that the team is playing for everything now, as the moment of truth has arrived.
"In every World Cup, once you get through the group stage, the decisive phase arrives where it's all or nothing. We're playing a match that's going to require a lot from us, in terms of soccer, mentality, and concentration, and we've prepared for it over these past few days," said the Merengue coach early this morning from Miami, after the team's training session.
Alonso announced Kylian Mbappé's improvement, who could be included in the squad. Likewise, the coach confirmed that, for the first time in a long while, both Dani Carvajal and Éder Militao will be on the list. "For tomorrow, both Éder and Dani will be included in the squad. It's a plus for the group to feel them close. Now that we're entering a decisive phase, everyone is important, and when you see great footballers on the bench, it shows," he remarked on the matter.
Madrid, which will face a Juve in the midst of change, with a new coach, Igor Tudor, for the past few months, will play against the 'Vecchia Signora' after seven years (the last time was in a Champions League quarterfinal that the Whites would go on to win). The Italians are coming off a heavy defeat against Manchester City (5-2) in their last group stage match.
No changes in the line-up
Madrid would be inclined to repeat the starting eleven that performed so well against Salzburg. At least, that's what Eduardo Inda, director of "OkDiario," confirmed during the early hours of this Tuesday on "El Chiringuito de Jugones."

"Mbappé will be a substitute, and I think Xabi Alonso will repeat the line-up he used against RB Salzburg," said Inda, on the program hosted by Josep Pedrerol on Mega. This way, Gonzalo García would once again be the team's offensive reference, and Arda Güler would have a prominent role in the midfield.
