The Hidden Superstar Center-back on Real Madrid's Agenda Announced in Germany
Real Madrid Might Already Have an Alternative to Dean Huijsen
One of the names that has fully entered Real Madrid's orbit is Dean Huijsen. Given the excellent performance that AFC Bournemouth's '2' has shown, the Merengue bosses would consider him an ideal candidate to expand the roster of center-backs this very summer. Despite the 'excitement' surrounding the cherry footballer, his incorporation is not easy at all.
Huijsen himself is well-positioned to win the award for the best signing of this season in the Premier League, an accolade that would undoubtedly increase his market price. At the Valdebebas offices, they already consider the 55 million euros requested from the Vitality Stadium to be excessive. That price would only increase, completely distancing the white club from the possibility of signing the Spanish defender.

In addition to considering all possible options to minimize the transfer to be paid in the hypothetical incorporation of Dean Huijsen, Real Madrid doesn't lose sight of other candidates. The recent failures of the 'Yoro case' and the 'Davies case' have served to include more than one center-back that fits the sought-after profile on the list of potential signings.
In Germany, they have gone a step further. Besides indicating that Real Madrid's scouts continue to move prominently in the center-back market, Sky Sports has definitively pointed to the footballer who could compete with Dean Huijsen.
More Than Ready Alternative
According to Sky Sports Germany, Real Madrid would have revived their old interest in acquiring the services of Piero Hincapié. The Ecuadorian footballer is one of Xabi Alonso's preferred center-backs due to his defensive strength and his recognized profile as a left-sided center-back. Piero Hincapié is left-footed and uses that disposition to offer good ball distribution.
Both Dean Huijsen and Hincapié himself fit perfectly into the requirements established from the Valdebebas offices. Both are young center-backs with experience in the European soccer elite and left-sided profiles. But only Dean Huijsen would fulfill the requirement of being a Spanish center-back, an 'extra' request to regain lost ground in the national senior team in recent times.

Taking into consideration the footballing similarities of these two center-backs, the white bosses would entrust the final decision to multiple aspects. One of them is the economic aspect, as they know how much Dean Huijsen's arrival could cost the Merengue team: the Vitality Stadium would demand 55 million euros. The market value of Piero Hincapié is set at 50 million, five million less than the transfer to be paid for AFC Bournemouth's '2' this summer.
Meanwhile, the '3' werkself has a contract until mid-2029, a disposition that would considerably increase the economic requirements for any club wanting to secure the services of the Ecuadorian center-back. In Sky Sports Germany, with the name of Piero Hincapié, they add more competition to a debate that seemed to be practically solved these weeks.
