Surprise, the photo of Bellingham posted by Real Madrid: he doesn't even look like himself
The club has surprised with the Englishman's appearance upon his return to work
Real Madrid knows it's going to start the season with some important absences, such as Jude Bellingham's. In the Englishman's case, it's due to the shoulder surgery he underwent. He wanted to leave behind the problems he had been dealing with for more than a year.
The club allowed him to extend his vacation a bit longer, a few more days than the rest of his teammates. However, the Englishman has already returned, and we saw him at Valdebebas to continue his recovery process. Now, Real Madrid has published a photo to confirm it.

It was on its official Twitter profile, where they wanted to show Bellingham in the Valdebebas gym. There, he can be seen working out, and there's a detail that has drawn a lot of attention. It's that he appears to have lost quite a bit of muscle mass during this summer.
We know he hasn't been inactive, that during his vacation he did recovery exercises. However, Bellingham seems to have felt the effects of the surgery and the time he was inactive. If his physique is usually his strong point, here it seems that he will have a lot of work to do before his return.
Xabi Alonso seeks solutions for the absence he has with Jude Bellingham
At Real Madrid, they knew that sooner or later Bellingham had to undergo surgery. He had to fix the problems in his shoulder, and last summer it wasn't possible. He reached the final of the Euro Cup with England, which forced that procedure to be postponed until this year.

He has several months of recovery ahead, which will force Xabi Alonso to look for solutions. Meanwhile, against Tirol, we saw what the Basque's first choice is to fill Jude's spot. It's Brahim, his most natural replacement and the one Ancelotti already used.
Although Arda Güler, or Franco Mastantuono could be solutions the Basque might consider. Even making a tactical change and opting for a defense with three center-backs is another option. Against Osasuna on Tuesday, we'll see what decision Xabi has made regarding Bellingham's absence.
