Real Madrid is still looking for reinforcements for its defense. One of the names that has recently come to light is Cristhian Mosquera, a central defender from Valencia. His agent, Sergio Barila, has confirmed that there is interest in the player.

In statements to CalcioMercato.it, Barila was clear: "Several clubs have inquired about him this month, but Cristhian only thinks about helping Valencia".

He also emphasized that the central defender doesn't consider an immediate departure: "He doesn't want to leave in this transfer window. He is focused on the club and its objectives".

Linked with major clubs

The interest in Mosquera is not new. Journalists like Pedro Morata have already linked him with Real Madrid. Bayern Munich has also shown interest, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport.

However, the representative insists that the player has a contract with Valencia until 2026 and is committed to the team. "Now is not the time to talk about other clubs", added Barila.

In recent months, Real Madrid has been linked with several center-backs. Names like Jorrel Hato (Ajax), Lukeba (RB Leipzig), and Aymeric Laporte (Al-Nassr) have been strongly mentioned. There was also talk of Vitor Reis, a recent signing by Manchester City.
