Juanma Rodríguez's shocking ranking for the Ballon d'Or

With the end of the season getting closer, it's time to rate the teams and their players' seasons. With some disappointments and other surprises, the big question lies in the favorite to win the Ballon d'Or. The award that was stolen from Vinícius last season is about to determine its finalists.

While there is still no official list, Juanma Rodríguez has surprised with his own. Sharing his list on his social media, Juanma surprised by not putting any Real Madrid player as the favorite. Despite Kylian Mbappé's unbelievable debut season, Juanma's big favorite for the Ballon d'Or is Ousmane Dembèlè.

In second place, Juanma placed Mohamed Salah after his excellent performance with Liverpool. Finally, and being the biggest surprise, Juanma placed Raphinha in third place in the ranking, a Barcelona player whose performance has not been surprising.

The favorites for the Ballon d'Or

Just like last season, the Ballon d'Or has begun to define the players with the highest chances of winning it. With several making a notable leap in their performance, Dembèlè has been the most surprising. The former Barcelona player, famous for spending more time injured than on the field, has managed to resurrect his career at PSG.

Making it clear that his problem was always Barcelona, Dembélé's position in Juanma's ranking is understandable. The same can be said for Salah, who despite being 32 years old, has reached numbers similar to his debut season at Liverpool.

The only doubt, of course, is a Raphinha whose season has not been as spectacular as other players. Completely disappearing in this second half of the campaign, Raphinha is easily surpassed by a Mbappé who has broken several records.

Juanma's list

Despite this surprise, Raphinha is clearly the least favorite to win the Ballon d'Or. Even so, after witnessing the controversy that Vinícius Júnior suffered last season, it wouldn't be surprising if the Barcelona player is the winner of this award.
