The 2 sales Real Madrid will make to sign Konaté: they're leaving the club soon
Fran García and Ceballos are on their way out and the club expects to bring in €20 million to sign the Frenchman
Real Madrid is already thinking about its next signing. The name on the table is Ibrahima Konaté. Liverpool's center-back is highly regarded by Xabi Alonso and the sporting management has started to take action.
According to L’Équipe, Los Blancos are willing to put up €25 million. This amount is far from the €50 million demanded by the English club, but they have an argument in their favor: the player's contract ends in 2026.
Madrid believes it can convince Liverpool. However, it first needs to raise funds and there are already two names highlighted in red.
Ceballos and Fran, on the way out
The club wants to bring in about €20 million ($21.7 million) before going after Konaté. The candidates to leave are already clear: Dani Ceballos and Fran García. Both players do not have a leading role and their future, barring any surprises, is outside Santiago Bernabéu.

Ceballos, 28 years old, has had few minutes. He is not in Xabi Alonso's main plans and he has a market in Spain and Italy, and Real Betis wants him back, but AC Milan is also keeping a close eye on him.
Meanwhile, Fran García has performed well when he has played. However, the arrival of Carreras and the recovery of Ferland Mendy leave him without a spot. The left-back needs minutes and the club will not object to a departure.
Konaté operation underway
After spending heavily on Huijsen, Mastantuono, and Carreras, Madrid prefers not to stretch its budget any further.
That's why sales are key to tackling the signing of the French center-back. Konaté is liked for his physique, Premier League experience, and room for growth. Xabi Alonso considers him ideal to strengthen the defense.

The roadmap is clear: sell Fran and Ceballos as soon as possible. If the desired amount is reached, a formal offer will be made to Liverpool.
The player has already shown signs that he would welcome wearing white, but the operation will not be easy. The English want to cash in.
At Bernabéu, meanwhile, they are packing their bags for two departures that could be key in the next big move of the summer.
