The 2 signings Madrid will make after the Club World Cup, confirmed by Pedrerol
He has revealed the two signings they have in mind once the World Cup ends
Real Madrid is working to finalize several important signings before the Club World Cup. Huijsen and Alexander Arnold are already confirmed and they're negotiating for Álvaro Carreras with Benfica. However, it seems that things won't stop at just these three names.
Josep Pedrerol has spoken and pointed out two more signings that Real Madrid will make. In this case, though, it will be after this summer's Club World Cup. But there will be two more additions joining the three defenders he already takes for granted.

"Real Madrid is considering signing a midfielder and a forward" the journalist stated. Although Pedrerol wanted to make it clear that "it won't be before the Club World Cup, it'll be afterwards". Those are the moves they're already preparing in the halls of Bernabéu.
Pedrerol has indicated that the first moves have taken place in defense out of necessity. The three signings before the Club World Cup have been in the back line because it was the most weakened. Within the white club, they believed that in order to win the title this summer, it was the priority they needed to address.
Xabi Alonso has conveyed his requests to Real Madrid's board
Xabi Alonso has been clear about the signings he wants brought in this summer for next season. Beyond the defense, where they've strengthened in every position. A midfielder and a forward were also other positions he considers important.

A playmaker has been one of his major demands for next season. With Kroos's retirement last summer and Modric's departure this year, they've lost quality in the midfield. Angelo Stiller is the name that stands out the most to solve this problem.
In attack, a forward like Joselu has been missed for matches that became complicated. A "tank" in the box, able to bring down balls and with the opposing goal always in mind. Maybe this isn't the priority right now, but Xabi Alonso has also requested it.
