Real Madrid Involved in a Three-Way Battle for the Best Dutch Talent in Years

With both English clubs willing to go all the way with this signing, Real Madrid knows that the operation for Hato won't be easy. Even so, with a few months left before the market begins, the club is confident in finding a way to secure this transfer.

The Fight for a Great Gem

Playing 3,521 minutes this season, Jorrel Hato has established himself as the pillar of Ajax's defense. Trained in the club's youth academy, the player made the leap to the first team in 2023. Despite his young age, this has never been a problem for a promise that has captivated half of Europe.

His strong mentality, defensive solidity, aerial play, and determination to fight for victory are qualities that have interested Real Madrid. In the absence of a young and talented center-back in the squad, the club is willing to make his signing as soon as possible.

Ajax, aware of the interest caused by their center-back, and despite his contract until 2028, has not shown opposition to his departure. This has left only Liverpool and Arsenal as the only problems Real Madrid will have to face soon.
