We've been able to see how Xabi Alonso is intense at every moment of the match.

Guillermo Rai has reported this:  "For anyone who missed it, Xabi Alonso was super intense during the talk at the cooling break. He started by giving instructions to Vinicius JR and then to the rest."

As he has been showing since his first day, Xabi Alonso wants the entire squad to give their best. From the defense to, above all, the attack with a Vinicius who's starting to show flashes of his best version. Xabi's instructions clearly show his intention for the club to work much harder to achieve victory.

Xabi Alonso's demand

Long before his time as a coach, Xabi Alonso was known for being a very talented and very demanding player.  Wanting to give his best and help his teammates achieve this as well, this mindset remains present in him. The successes he has achieved so far have come, in large part, because of his high level of demand.

Moreover, having been a Real Madrid player, Xabi is aware of the level the entire squad must have. Although the club has had some chances, it still hasn't been able to finish them. This is why, during the break, Xabi demanded more from each and every player.

A demand that has produced results given the squad's great performance. Despite the low block Osasuna are playing with, Real Madrid are dominating the match. Constantly threatening the opponent's box, the club are tirelessly seeking the first goal of the match.
