The image shows Kroos and Modric celebrating winning their last Champions League. In front of them, Valverde and Mbappé can be seen with their backs turned, showing their jersey numbers. 8 and 10 respectively were the numbers Kroos and Modric wore during their time as Real Madrid footballers.
This clearly shows that Kroos considers both players as the worthy heirs to these jersey numbers.
