Toni Kroos shatters madridism and sends a message to Xabi Alonso regarding Ancelotti
The German midfielder made it clear that his journey as a Real Madrid player has already ended
Toni Kroos stopped playing for Real Madrid a year ago. The German midfielder said goodbye to the white team in the best possible way: with a Champions League and a La Liga title. Now, in an interview with "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the former German footballer spoke about the current situation of Real Madrid and the Club World Cup, among many other things.
"There are no poor people in soccer. Those who play do what they like and earn a lot of money, so there are no poor people. But I'm a lover of quality, and to keep the quality of the matches, players must be fresh, physically and mentally well, and it's getting harder and harder", he commented.
Toni Kroos was asked about the Club World Cup and his answer was quite remarkable. "No one asks the players' opinion, so more money and less rest, with two consequences: more injuries and a drop in the quality of the matches", the former footballer replied.

Toni Kroos rules out his return to Real Madrid
Additionally, Toni Kroos was again asked about a possible return to Real Madrid as a footballer, but his answer was the one everyone knew.
"I'm not going to return and they know it, but it's true that they're missing a profile like mine and they're still looking for it. The problem is that there aren't many players like that and the ones who exist aren't easy to get", Toni Kroos explained.
Meanwhile, he also made a comment about Real Madrid's play in recent matches. "Good players can and should play together. I'm sure Xabi will know how to correct what needs to be adjusted; there are things that must change, but with so much quality, things necessarily have to go well", Kroos added.
A message for Xabi Alonso and Carlo Ancelotti
Finally, Toni Kroos also left a message for the former coach and the current manager of Real Madrid. The German believes that the change benefits the white squad, but that it's still too early to judge Xabi Alonso's work at the club.
"A change that benefits everyone. The club, Xabi, who wanted to take a step forward in his career, and Carlo, who has won so much and has found a great job in Brazil. The offer had already arrived when we were together and I spoke with him", he explained.

"It's good because he's still very motivated, he has the opportunity to play a World Cup with a great national team and he can work a little less. He has more time to rest, he doesn't have to deal with daily life and that will suit him well. Everyone is happy, we'll see how it goes", Toni Kroos commented.
"It's too soon to judge Xabi's Madrid; it takes time to evaluate the change and the implementation of his ideas; I can only say that he's done a great job in Germany", he concluded.
