Definite Absence: Valencia's Biggest Problem before Facing Real Madrid

Real Madrid can finally play that postponed game against Valencia at the start of this year. This way, they can catch up on points and games played in the Spanish competition.  Opening up the possibility of even becoming leaders of the competition soon.

However, things for Valencia might not be so good after all when facing the whites. This, in addition to having a very bad streak recently, could become even more complicated with the absence of José Luis Gayà. This icon of the Valencian team might completely miss this game because he's not 100% recovered from his injury.

For now, it's not exactly known how many games he'll miss at the start of the year, but at least he won't miss this one. An excellent piece of news for Madrid who can get rid of one of the rivals' best players.
