From Vinícius and Rodrygo to a New Transfer Policy: the Change that's Taking Shape
The decision the club has made regarding the next transfers to be made after the arrivals of Vinícius and Rodrygo
For several seasons, Real Madrid has had the policy of transfering young prospects. Whether they're from Spain or not, this policy was one of the reasons stars like Vinícius and Rodrygo were able to join the club. With many more success stories following the Brazilian stars, the team has opted for a change.
Starting this market, Real Madrid has begun focusing on players from LaLiga. Regardless of whether they play in the First or Second Division, the team is looking for the best talents in the country. This change has been made with the goal of strengthening Castilla to improve its current state, as it fights to avoid relegation.
Due to this change, players like Rodrigo Mendoza from Elche have started to move closer to a possible arrival at Valdebebas. Strengthening the youth academy would also pave the way for, in the near future, the signed players to aspire to play in the first team.
Real Madrid's change
Opening the doors for players from LaLiga or LaLiga Hypermotion, Real Madrid is confident in securing several transfers. The profile they're looking for in their next players doesn't differ much from the one used for past transfers. However, there are slight differences, such as the requirement for them to be under-21 players who haven't yet reached their full potential.
This last point has been decided so that the transfers made don't come with an exorbitant price. To carry out these operations, the club would only make moves for players whose contracts are nearing expiration or have an affordable clause.
Besides Mendoza, the club has shown interest in Aaron Martín, Slavy, Riesco, Arnu, Hugo Sotelo, Francho, and Pablo Torre. All of them are great soccer prospects who, if signed, would be a significant reinforcement for Castilla and the first team.
Going for Spanish talent
By transfer prospects or stars from other leagues, Real Madrid aims to boost Spanish talent as soon as possible. With only Lucas Vázquez, Carvajal, Fran García, Vallejo, and Ceballos as Spanish players, the club seeks to change this.
