Vinícius Speaks Out About His Departure From Madrid and the Mess With the Referees: Here...

The Brazilian reassured fans by stating that he wants to stay at Real Madrid and criticized Spanish referees.

Vinícius Jr was the one to speak at the press conference before the decisive Champions League match between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid.

The Brazilian cleared up doubts about his future and shared a reflection on refereeing in Europe and LaLiga.

Future in Real Madrid: Message of Reassurance

The forward made it clear that his intention is to keep wearing white for many more years.

"I'm very calm because I have a contract until 2027 and hopefully I can renew it as soon as possible because I'm happy here," he stated.

The recent multimillion-dollar offers from Saudi Arabia haven't changed his stance.

"Everyone loves me and cares for me a lot. I couldn't be in a better place than here," he added firmly.

His Commitment to the Club

Vinícius also wanted to send a direct message to Madrid fans, ensuring that his only intention is to continue writing his story at the club.

"I'm here to continue the story. Everything the president and the club have given me, I want to give back," he explained.

The Brazilian is aware of what it means to play for Madrid and doesn't hide his ambition.

"I've won, but I can win much more. I can enter the history of this club alongside so many legends," he concluded.

Referees in Europe and LaLiga

Beyond his future, Vinícius also analyzed one of the season's controversies: the refereeing criteria.

"In Europe, they defend players who entertain more," he pointed out.

The Brazilian, who has been the subject of numerous fouls and refereeing controversies in Spain, made his stance clear.

"We don't like to talk about referees, but it's important that they officiate well," he added.

Real Madrid is playing for a spot in the quarterfinals against Atlético. The match will be tomorrow at Santiago Bernabéu.

Vinícius, key in Ancelotti's scheme, will seek to lead the team on another great European night.
