Vinícius Heats Up the Comeback Against Arsenal After Beating Alavés: 'On Wednesday...'
Vinícius's Message on Social Media After Real Madrid's Victory
Real Madrid achieved a valuable victory in their visit to Vitoria, defeating Alavés thanks to Camavinga's goal in the first half. The white team played a very serious match, despite having to face more than half an hour with one less player after Mbappé's expulsion in the 38th minute. Later, the situation was equalized after Manu Sánchez saw a red card in the 70th minute for a harsh tackle on Vinícius.
After half an hour, Real Madrid took the lead. Fede Valverde combined with Eduardo Camavinga at the edge of the area, and the Frenchman made it 0-1 with a precise shot. It was the only goal of the match, as Raúl Asencio's goal minutes earlier was disallowed due to a previous foul by Rudiger.

A Good Second Half to Secure the Result
After the break, Real Madrid maintained a solid structure to preserve the lead on the scoreboard. Numerical equality came in the 70th minute when Vinícius received a deep pass and was brought down with a harsh tackle by Manu Sánchez. Although Soto Grado initially did not call a foul, after reviewing the action on the monitor, he decided to show the red card.
Just a minute later, Valverde was close to increasing the lead with a powerful shot from outside the area that almost surprised goalkeeper Owono. In the final stretch, Bellingham had the clearest chance after going one-on-one with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute but failed to score. In added time, Ceballos got some minutes, putting the finishing touch on a hard-fought victory that allows the white team to focus on their next challenge against Arsenal.
