Vinícius's Reaction to the Fight between Asencio and Maffeo at the End of the Game
Vinícius Jr. was provoked by Pablo Maffeo for much of the game
Rodrygo's goal set off all the chaos. The Brazilian sealed the victory with the third goal and put Real Madrid into a new Spanish Supercopa final. The white team will face FC Barcelona in the decisive game for the third consecutive time after eliminating RCD Mallorca.
After the Brazilian's goal, while the white team's players focused on celebrating the goal, the cameras focused on the brawl. In the center of the field, several players from Real Madrid and RCD Mallorca had to be separated to prevent them from coming to blows.
Why did it all start?
Rodrygo Goes's goal unleashed the euphoria of Real Madrid's players. At that moment, Jude Bellingham gave a small tap to Pablo Maffeo, which unleashed all the accumulated tension. The vermillion defender reproached him, and the tension grew rapidly with one protagonist: Raúl Asencio.
The white team's academy player had to be separated by his own teammates while making gestures to RCD Mallorca's players. In fact, Raúl Asencio blew several kisses to Pablo Maffeo, who hadn't stopped provoking Vinícius throughout the game.
The defender's attitude heated things up and angered RCD Mallorca's players. While Vinícius also had to be held back on the sideline by staff members, as he also had several things to say.
How did Vinícius react?
As we've already mentioned, Vinícius had to endure all sorts of comments from Pablo Maffeo, who sought to provoke at every moment. "You're very bad," the defender told the Brazilian player from Real Madrid. However, the striker left a move in the second half where he practically humiliated the Bermellón with a great dribble.
With Vinícius already on the bench, RCD Mallorca and Real Madrid players got involved in the brawl. The Brazilian, laughing, had to be held back by some of Carlo Ancelotti's staff members. We really don't know what would have happened if all this occurred with the Brazilian on the field, but luckily, it all came to nothing.
