Xabi Alonso seals the signing of a winger who will bring plenty of joy to Real Madrid

The Tolosa manager had expressly requested the signing of this young prospect

Real Madrid is not only focused on making all the signings needed to complete the restructuring of Santiago Bernabéu locker room. While it is true that the first team receives most of that attention, the youth divisions also require constant rotation and renewal.

That's why the top executives led by Florentino Pérez are paying more and more attention to what happens at La Fábrica to build their roadmaps for the transfer market. The sustained growth of prices in the European soccer elite means that the club's treasury can no longer compete for some signings with its most classic rivals.

That's why the merengue sports management is betting on developing the stars of the future at La Fábrica, hoping they will establish themselves in the youth academy... or else go through a brief experience at other top-level teams in the Old Continent before returning to Santiago Bernabéu locker room. Xabi Alonso has perfectly understood the need to keep that dynamic constantly running.

With that in mind, the Tolosa coach requested the signing of a brilliant winger trained in Real Sociedad's youth academy who already wears the white jersey. The arrival of Darío Ramírez is one of the first signings for the merengue youth divisions that bears the personal stamp of the Basque coach.

Another piece to rebuild the youth academy

During his brief stint as coach at Real Sociedad B, Xabi Alonso discovered Darío Ramírez during the 21/22 campaign. It only took one season for the current Real Madrid coach to realize that the Canarian striker is a young prospect in development. That's why he reportedly requested his placement at La Fábrica, hoping he will progress to the first team soon.

The signing of the left winger was completed on a free transfer, since the footballer was finishing his contract with the first txuri-urdin reserve team. The offer sent by Real Madrid provides a tangible opportunity to grow in an ecosystem that is more than familiar to the first team coach.

That's why Xabi Alonso is always in constant communication with Álvaro Arbeloa, his great friend and coach of Real Madrid Castilla. Darío Ramírez is leaving the Basque blue-and-white discipline for the merengue jersey and, at 20 years old, will join Real Madrid C. That category is the intermediate step between Juvenil A and the team now coached by "El Espartano", who will count on him on numerous occasions.

The information about Darío Ramírez's time at Real Madrid indicates that he will regularly take part in Real Madrid Castilla's dynamics... even though the category he will join a priori is Real Madrid C. This team change could be permanent as long as the player delivers performance in line with the expectations and demands set by Álvaro Arbeloa.

This way, the merengue club keeps taking care of and perfecting its youth academy, after a wonderful year in which they won 13 titles. The arrival of Dario Ramírez is a great reinforcement for the "C" and an important step in the young footballer's career.
