But the coach from Tolosa believes that it could be harmful to have both during this upcoming season. They're two young players who share the same position, and that could be counterproductive. One of them will have to get fewer minutes and could see his progress stalled.

This is why Xabi Alonso believes the best thing is to look for an exit for one of them this summer. In no case will it be a transfer; instead, they're considering a possible loan so they can get more minutes. It seems both will have offers if they end up looking for them.
