PSG's president doesn't forget about Mbappé and surprises with his words about him
Last summer, Mbappé made the decision not to renew with PSG to fulfill his dream. He wanted to play for Real Madrid and he was finally able to do so despite the stance of the Parisians. That's something they still haven't forgiven, especially Al-Khelaïfi, who keeps talking about him.
However, it seems that winning their first Champions League this season has calmed them down. In fact, he admitted that "I don't regret Mbappé, I thank Kylian and Zlatan." He also praises his time at PSG and acknowledges that "they were very important for the club."
He has changed his tone, now speaking positively about Mbappé even in his new chapter. "We were lucky this year without him, but I wish him the best for the future at Madrid, when he's not playing against PSG," he stated. Striking words from Al-Khelaïfi about Kylian, reminding him of his Champions League victory.
It's important to remember that the Frenchman is still demanding part of his salary from PSG. He claims they owe him money in a case that has even reached the courts to be solved. That's why it's surprising that the president of the French club is now not attacking his former striker.
Mbappé only thinks about Real Madrid
Mbappé made the decision to leave PSG, although it wasn't easy for him to take that step. He had to endure boos, insults, and pressure for not wanting to renew his contract. Even though years earlier he had asked them to negotiate his transfer with Real Madrid.
But it was in the summer of 2024 when he was finally able to fulfill his dream of signing for the white team. In fact, right now he only thinks about Real Madrid and about succeeding at Bernabéu. That's something he has started this year, although he's missed out on collective titles.
The Pichichi and the Ballon d'Or are already a good start, but Mbappé still wants more. Next season, the goal will be La Liga and above all, conquering the Champions League. He knows he needs to step up to achieve lifting the Sixteenth.
