Álvaro Benito explodes live against Ancelotti, very angry about Vini: 'shame'

Great anger from the former player who doesn't understand what has happened

Real Madrid showed two sides again in a match they should've won. They started by taking the lead 0 to 2 thanks to the goals scored by Mbappé. But everything went downhill to the point that Barça won 4 to 3.

Once again, the spotlight was on Ancelotti for not being able to get the team out of their own area. Thus, from 0 to 2 in 10 minutes, it went to 4 to 2 by halftime, leaving everything practically decided. However, in the final minutes, Real Madrid sought a draw to salvage the situation.

Although everything was overshadowed by what happened with Ancelotti and Vinicius and the Brazilian's injury. He requested a substitution, and when Endrick was about to come on, the '7' stopped everything, saying he would continue. Minutes later, he had to be substituted for Víctor Muñoz to come in.

This did not sit well with Álvaro Benito, who exploded in the middle of the match broadcast on Cadena Ser. "But well, what Vinicius did is unbelievable, I'm telling you seriously," he began saying. "It's a disgrace," he repeated three times, demanding that Carletto should've taken him off the field.

Ancelotti explained the controversies in a press conference

After the match, Ancelotti was asked about all the controversies that arose with several players. One of them was precisely with Vinicius and all the mess with his substitution. "I made the change, he had an ankle sprain," he concluded.

But he was also asked about Rodrygo and the fact that he didn't even warm up. The team needed goals to try to draw the match, but the former Santos player wasn't an option. He preferred to bring on Endrick and even debuted a youth player like Víctor Muñoz.

Regarding that and if there's anything going on with him, Ancelotti was clear: "Nothing, zero problems with him. He wasn't at one hundred percent, and to put him in for five or seven minutes if he's not at one hundred percent, he can only get injured. He had recovered, but he wasn't feeling well."
