Ancelotti Reveals Which Criticism of Real Madrid Has Bothered Him the Most
The Real Madrid coach opens up about recent comments
Real Madrid are once again the center of attention in Spanish soccer with their match against Girona . After their midweek defeat , a totally unexpected setback in competition, Carlo Ancelotti's men must recover and continue their fight for the League against FC Barcelona.
Because the blaugrana did get the three points from their match during the week and now have extended the difference to four points... although it is true that they have played one more game than the Merengues. In the press conference prior to the clash against Girona, Ancelotti has been candid about everything he has read and heard lately .
Reggiolo's boss believes that the volume of criticism is high, but "they are right in some ways. This is normal." The Real Madrid coach draws a clear line because "some of them, yes, some of them bother me, because they affect the identity, and that bothers you more."
Carlo Ancelotti is more than prepared to take the criticism that "affects professionalism, if I've made a bad change... A bad lineup, this doesn't affect identity, how one works." On the other hand, criticism of his "identity" is something totally different that he receives with a radically different attitude.
Very Clear Limit
"When it affects identity, it attacks who you are. That's what bothers you the most." To prove it, he gave a really illustrative example at a press conference: "It's not the same to tell someone: you've done something stupid as to tell them you're stupid."
The latest comments have considerably annoyed the Real Madrid manager. Although these protests haven't been the only ones expressed by the Italian coach, he has shown his discontent with the media treatment he has received in recent weeks.
The accumulation of poor results in Real Madrid's calendar has not left much room for praise either. Although key players such as Jude Bellingham seem to have returned to their natural position, it is still not enough to provoke a radical change of direction.
The upward trend that Real Madrid is pursuing seems to be far from their reach . Carlo Ancelotti shows himself to be full of determination and strength to continue working at Real Madrid. He assures that he is not tired and is prepared to stay until the end of his time at Real Madrid if it doesn't end sooner due to the action of the board of directors.
