Doubt until the Clásico's End: Ancelotti Confirms 2 Injured Players against Mallorca

Both players are in doubt for the big final against FC Barcelona next Sunday

Besides Tchouaméni, who had to leave due to a hard hit to the jaw, two Real Madrid players finished the game with cramps. The white team, which defeated RCD Mallorca by three goals to zero, will be in the big final on Sunday against FC Barcelona.

However, Carlo Ancelotti has seen Jude Bellingham and Fede Valverde, both indisputable players, leave with discomfort. The Uruguayan, substituted in the 75th minute, and the British midfielder, who lasted the full ninety minutes, ended up with cramps but not injured. Therefore, it's expected that both will be available against the Barça team next Sunday.

Carlo Ancelotti confirms it's just discomfort

Carlo Ancelotti himself reassured Madrid fans in the press conference after the game. "Bellingham and Valverde's issue was a strain, there was unexpected heat, and that affected the pace of the game a bit", he explained.

"Tchouaméni, I was told from the bench that he was fine, that he was fine. Well, the doctor preferred to take him off the field because it was a head hit. But he was fine", the Italian said when asked about Tchouaméni.

We'll have to keep an eye on the evolution of both players. Physically, we're talking about two very strong players, so everything points to them being in the line-up against the culés. However, the upcoming training sessions and medical tests will be decisive.

Satisfied with the work done

Carlo Ancelotti shared his approval after the match in the press conference. The Italian coach, who didn't like the final brawl, ended up quite pleased with the work of all his players.

"It was a tough match, more challenging, because I think we didn't start very well. We could have opened the scoring a bit earlier, in the first half, after a good start; it's a demanding match because Mallorca played the game they had to. Defending well, closing spaces, and trying to find opportunities with crosses", he concluded.

Finally, the coach also commented on Kylian Mbappé's match. "Yes, he's doing very well now... he's showing a good version of himself, I think it's not just today, but I think he did very well in December", he explained.
