Ancelotti Confirms TOP Transfer After Mbappé's Absence: 'He Can Play Tomorrow'
The coach assessed the French forward's injury after the game against Atalanta
Real Madrid has no time to rest and will play again this Saturday, four days after beating Atalanta (2-3). They visit Vallecas to face Rayo, in a game that will start at 9 p.m. and which correponds to the 17th round of the League.
Carlo Ancelotti has appeared at a press conference to analyze the game. The Madrid coach has addressed several issues, including, of course, Kylian Mbappé's injury.
The French star had to withdraw in the first half of the game against Atalanta, feeling muscle discomfort. The medical tests carried out on him on Thursday indicated that he's suffering from a thigh injury in his left leg.
'It will be a demanding game, Rayo has always been difficult for us. They play well, intensely. But we are confident,' said Ancelotti on how he expects the game.

'The team has recovered well after another day of rest and we are going into the game with great enthusiasm,' said the Italian.
'Kylian's situation is not serious. He won't be available tomorrow, but he will travel to Qatar and we will evaluate the risk there,' said Ancelotti about the striker. Madrid play the Intercontinental Cup final on Asian soil next Wednesday (18 December).
'It's a bit difficult. In the last few breaks he's been here, resting, working... we don't know,' said Ancelotti about the causes of Mbappé's injury.
'Fortunately, he will only be out for a short period and will not lose what he has achieved in recent times,' said the coach.
The return of Camavinga
Ancelotti will be able to count on Eduardo Camavinga, who has been suffering from a muscle injury in the hamstring of his left leg since the match against Liverpool on 27 November.
'Camavinga is fine. He's available for tomorrow,' said Ancelotti, who defended himself against criticism once again and asked for patience.
'We are going to compete and fight for everything, that's what I know. Things are starting to improve, as you can see. Alaba and Camavinga are almost back...', said Carletto.

'All the benches are burning, all have their problems. Normal. It burns, of course, but like the rest,' replied Ancelotti when asked about the pressure at Bernabéu.
'I'm not giving him any advice. My opinion of him hasn't changed based on recent results. He's been an innovator. We can control many things, but not the outcome of the games,' Ancelotti replied when asked about Guardiola. In a Madrid press conference. You'll see things…
