Ancelotti reveals why he didn't put Mbappé in Vini's position: 'For me...'
The Brazil coach spoke about his relationship with Vinícius after his time at Real Madrid
Carlo Ancelotti, one of the best coaches in Real Madrid's history and current coach of Brazil, spoke about current soccer topics.
In an interview for "France Football", the Italian was asked about his time at Real Madrid and about his present with the "canarinha". He also didn't avoid questions about Vinícius, Kylian Mbappé, or Neymar...

Carlo Ancelotti and his time at Real Madrid
Carlo Ancelotti analyzed his last season with Real Madrid in a rather objective way. "We didn't win what we wanted. We had too many injuries in defense and it was difficult to build a solid team to support the quality in attack", he commented.
"Militao, Antonio Rüdiger, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal... There were matches where I only had two defenders and one was Asencio, who had just come up from the academy although he performed well", he pointed out.
In addition, the coach was asked about his current time in Brazil and left a message for Madridists. "The only team I could coach after Brazil would be Real Madrid. I have a year left on my contract here and then anything can happen", he explained.
His statements about Mbappé, Vinícius and Neymar...
Carlo Ancelotti was asked about Vinícius's role at Real Madrid during the Italian's last season.
"I have a fantastic relationship with Vinícius, he does what I ask and I've never had problems with him. When you coach a national team you don't have those problems so often. Now I don't have the obligation I had at a club to manage a player for the whole season", he commented.
He was also asked about Kylian Mbappé, whom he coached for a season. "In one year, Mbappé never asked me for anything, not to take penalties, to play, not to play, to take free kicks... He always behaved very well, with a lot of humility", he pointed out.
"He had a season at a very high level. He scored 44 goals, but I think this second season will be better because he's already adapted and his teammates know him well", he added.

Finally, the coach of the "canarinha" spoke about Neymar's presence in Brazil ahead of the World Cup. "A national team must draft the most talented, but a talented player must also be in good physical shape. Neymar is the most talented Brazilian player, he had a physical problem and recovered quickly but I want him to be really well in order to play", he explained.
"He'll take part in the World Cup if he's in good physical shape because from a technical point of view there's no discussion. Neymar must have the goal of being ready in June, it doesn't matter if he's not on the list in October, November, or March", he concluded.
