Real Madrid drew 3-3 against Rayo Vallecano in the match corresponding to the 17th round of the league championship . Carlo Ancelotti 's men overturned an adverse score with three goals, but could not seal the victory and will remain second in the table.
After the match, Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the various media present in the press room at Vallecas . The Italian coach is not happy with the result, but he did want to leave a message of hope for all Real Madrid fans.
"I see a very good 2025"
The year 2024 has been very positive for Real Madrid . The white team managed to lift the League and the Champions League , although the current season is not being the most consistent of all.
However, Carlo Ancelotti wanted to bring a little calm after the draw. He was confident and gave a message of optimism on a night when Madrid lost the lead.
"I see 2025 as a year of desire, motivation and excitement. We are doing well, we are not doing badly despite the difficulties," explained the Italian.
"We played without Mbappé, without Vini, without Camavinga, without Mendy, without Alaba, without Carvajal, without Militão. Seven starters. When they all return, the team will be much better," said the Reggiolo native.
Optimism despite the drawCarlo Ancelotti understands that it is very difficult to get three points in every league game. The team has to find consistency and, from there, continue to grow.
"When you can't win a match, you shouldn't lose it. Last year we also drew here and won LaLiga," said the coach.
"This is a draw for a united team, which competed and was not able to win because we made some mistakes," he said. Carlo Ancelotti also commented that "I am very satisfied" with the match despite not being the desired result.
| The Merengue team still has two games before the end of 2024. In one of them, against Pachuca , they could win the Intercontinental Cup . Finally, Real Madrid will say farewell against Sevilla FC at Santiago Bernabéu on December 22.
