Ancelotti scolds this former Madridist, he was about to leave the team: 'Every time'
He has revealed the personal call he made to him before he packed his bags
Ancelotti has already taken charge of Brazil, leaving his position as coach at Real Madrid. He does so after achieving many successes with the club, although the last season wasn't the best. Despite that, some players have shared their opinions about their relationship with Carletto.
One of them was Raúl Albiol, who appeared on Josep Pedrerol's podcast, El Cafelito. He recalled that at Real Madrid he didn't get to coincide with Ancelotti as coach. The year the Italian arrived at Bernabéu, the center-back left for Napoli.
Precisely at the Italian club a similar situation happened again, with Albiol asking to leave. It was exactly the same summer that Ancelotti was signed as coach of the Italian side. That led to Carletto's "scolding," as the Spanish center-back revealed.

"That same summer he arrived, I was going to leave too and he called me on the phone. He told me: listen to me, you're running away from me, every time I arrive at a club you leave. He called me to tell me you're leaving again, we'll meet someday, because we didn't know each other," he confessed.
"He convinced me to stay and I stayed in Napoli and spent a year with him and with Davide" he concluded. This anecdote led Albiol to meet Carletto, although he was close to not doing so. That conversation convinced him to stay one more season with the Neapolitan side.
Albiol talks about what Ancelotti was like as a coach
Although he didn't coincide at Real Madrid, he did during that season at Napoli when Ancelotti convinced him. He revealed what the Italian coach was like inside the locker room with them. This is something that has also been repeated at the Merengue side according to many comments.

"Ancelotti is like a father, the affection, the calm he gives you, he gave us a lot of confidence" he indicated. These are values that all the players who have played under him have always highlighted. Without a doubt, they've been key to his success, at Madrid and at all his teams.
