The Madrid coach addressed the media after the victory against RCD Mallorca
After the hard-fought victory against RCD Mallorca at Bernabéu, Ancelotti addressed the press to comment on the various aspects left by the match.
"The team played very well, fought hard in the match. An absolutely deserved victory, everyone made a great effort and we are very happy. This match didn't start well, but the team did well in every way", explained Carlo Ancelotti initially.
"The team didn't give up despite the difficulty. We were able to make up for these absences, which are many of very important players, with a good attitude collectively, individually... I've never seen a team that has shot 40 times on goal like we did today", commented the Italian.
A message about squad planning?
Additionally, Carlo Ancelotti was asked about the goal that Real Madrid might lack in some game situations. His response, in which he refers to the departure of Joselu, was quite notable. "We don't have a tall forward to head crosses like we did last year", he said.
