Ancelotti's Request That Real Madrid Didn't Accept, Disadvantage in Copa del Rey
Ancelotti Reveals the Request That Was Denied by the Club and Could Have Been Key in the Season
The white team has done things negligently throughout the season, and this has been evident in the team's play and development. Obviously, all parties have some blame, but we can't point to anyone as the main responsible party. However, just before what seems to be a somewhat chaotic farewell, Ancelotti has made surprising statements.
After the cup final, it became known that the merengue coach had asked the management to expand his technical staff. This was evidenced by the team that Barcelona has with seven analysts, compared to Real Madrid's two. While more is not always better, this request expressly made by Ancelotti was rejected by the higher-ups.
This speaks a bit about the disparity that has existed between the management and the coach's technical staff and why they didn't feel entirely comfortable. That said, it is a situation that could have a significant turnaround for the next season, whether the Italian coach is there or not.

An Ignored Request
Just a couple of weeks ago, there was talk about a last-minute signing in Ancelotti's technical staff that ultimately seems not to have happened. This spoke a bit about the revolution Ancelotti wanted to make in his technical staff to remedy the situation.
However, this new information comes out just after the cup final and was clearly evidenced right in the match. Something that, from the Italian coach's point of view, could have been changed at the right moment to benefit the team.

While it is no longer useful to say it now, as time has passed and there is no solution, it does speak a bit about the problems the club has had.
This Has to Change
Both Florentino and Ancelotti's entire technical staff know that this has been everyone's mistake. Therefore, the change for the next season, with or without the coach at the helm, will be imminent and possibly better for the team.
