Arda Güler and Endrick Are Witnesses, Ancelotti Is More Underlined Than Ever
The coach has made a decision that has put him in the spotlight.
Ancelotti is having a challenging season filled with criticism regarding his work at Real Madrid. It's true that two titles have already been won, and they are still alive in 4 others. However, some of the decisions he has made haven't pleased all the fans.
This is the case with Arda Güler and Endrick, who are barely getting any minutes and haven't made it into the rotation. The Turk has shown glimpses of his quality every time he has had an opportunity. Meanwhile, the Brazilian made his goal-scoring ability clear in the Cup against Celta.

But despite this, a fact has come to light that demonstrates Ancelotti's stance with them. Real Madrid is the team that uses its substitutes the least among all the teams in La Liga. And that's despite Davide constantly insisting that he make changes.
Carletto isn't fully convinced and has shown firmness in not making substitutions prematurely. What happened in the first round against Alavés seems to have been a wake-up call. He doesn't trust, no matter how much the matches seem decided, what might happen.
From Güler to Asencio, Ancelotti's Decisions That Generate Criticism
Last season, Güler barely participated until the final stretch with the league decided. But there he showed that he could contribute a lot to the team, as he had more than enough quality for it. However, this season he hasn't managed to carve out a spot even though it seemed he deserved it.

Raúl Asencio has done it, although it also took longer than his performance seemed to suggest. The youth player saw Ancelotti opt for Tchouaméni as a central defender first. Although he eventually backtracked after seeing the former's performances.
Ceballos is another who has managed to break through the coach's barriers to make it into the starting eleven. Güler and Endrick should be next, at least that's what Madrid fans are asking for. We'll see what happens in the final stretch of the season if he gives in.
