Güler Picks Up the Phone, Calls Xabi Alonso for His Offer: 'I'm Looking Forward To...'

Last Saturday, Arda Güler was one of the new additions in the starting eleven that beat Girona at Montilivi. However, despite his good performance, he didn't start again in Bergamo against Atalanta. He still doesn't have the continuity that he would wish for in order to continue progressing.

This has led to numerous teams contacting the Turkish player to convince him. They want him on loan in the winter transfer market, and they have been particularly active at Bayer Leverkusen. Xabi Alonso has reportedly insisted that he would be an ideal reinforcement for his team.

However, the reply he has received from Arda Güler is a refusal to leave the white team. "I'm looking forward to succeeding at Real Madrid, but I am very grateful for the offer," he is said to have confessed. No other scenario than staying at Bernabéu is on his mind.

Despite the numerous rumors, he won't leave in January, nor does he have any long-term intentions. He knows that it is hard, that he is not getting many minutes, although he continues to make appearances. But he knows that the way forward is to continue working and doing it as he has done up until now.

Numerous offers but Madrid and Güler's position is clear

Since last summer, Real Madrid have received numerous offers asking for Arda Güler. But all of them have been met with the same negative reply from the club and the player. The position of both parties is clear: they have no intention of him leaving.

The Whites continue to trust him, in the quality he has already demonstrated and in his progress. Meanwhile, the young Ottoman knows that he has the conditions to succeed at Madrid. That's why his commitment is firm, to continue fighting to make a place for himself.

A few weeks ago he put an end to all the rumors by saying that he had no problems with his playing time or with Ancelotti. Although some people tried to sell him as if he was unhappy, it was false. There is no chance that he will accept an offer to leave the white team this January.
