Official Decision: Ancelotti Approves His Exit in Bergamo, Doesn't Want Him in Madrid
Ancelotti knows that he doesn't want him to continue at Real Madrid and is looking for a way out for him after Bergamo
Real Madrid had a great night in Bergamo with a 2-3 victory over Atalanta. Ancelotti's men found their way back to winning ways in the Champions League in a game in which all three of their front three scored. However, not all the players left Italy happy.
We already know that Mbappé, despite scoring a great goal, had to leave injured in the first half. We don't know the extent of his injury as he won't undergo tests until Thursday. But Vallejo also accepts his reality, which will take him away from Real Madrid sooner rather than later.
Ancelotti doesn't trust him and in Bergamo that was perfectly clear to the defender from Zaragoza. He had already seen how against Osasuna, when Militão was injured, he preferred to turn to Asencio rather than him. And this Tuesday something similar happened when he put the young reserve player in as right winger.
Vallejo has already played in that position, especially in the lower categories of the Spanish national team. But it seems that even in the final minutes of a game, Ancelotti counts on him. He already knows that if he wants to play, the only option he has is to leave Real Madrid.
Real Madrid is looking for a way out for Vallejo in January
It is clear that even with the injuries to Alaba, Militão and Carvajal, Vallejo will not have any playing time at Real Madrid. Even less so after seeing the emergence of Raúl Asencio, who has convinced everyone with his level. That's why a solution is being sought for the situation of the player from Zaragoza.
This will be the winter transfer window, where they would be alert to see if any offer appears that could offer him a new destination. It will be on loan, since his contract ends on June 30th, 2025. The other option is to reach an agreement to terminate his contract right now.
In both situations it seems clear that the end is the same, Vallejo will say farewell to Real Madrid. Despite his effort and his work at Valdebebas, he hasn't been able to earn a place in the rotation. His future seems already sealed.
