Here's the Ballon d'Or 2025: Mbappé, Vinícius, Dembélé and Lamine Yamal's rankings
Le Parisien has published the list of favorites for the award after contacting numerous journalists
There's less and less time left to find out who the new Ballon d'Or will be. On September 22, one of the most desired ceremonies of the year for soccer lovers will take place at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. Currently, the favorite to succeed Rodrigo Hernández is Ousmane Dembélé, a footballer for Paris Saint-Germain.
The French winger has won absolutely every trophy he has competed for this season and could cap off his campaign with the Club World Cup.Paris Saint-Germain could become champion of the new competition this very Sunday if they manage to defeat Chelsea led by Enzo Maresca. The match will take place at MetLife in New York starting at 9:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time).
However, Le Parisien chose to ask 12 journalists for their opinions and to create a top 10 as a guide. The result, although it marks Ousmane Dembélé as the favorite, is still quite impressive.

Le Parisien's ranking for the Ballon d'Or
As we've already mentioned, the journalists place Ousmane Dembélé in first place with a total of 155 points. Lamine Yamal appears in second place with 127 points, so he's not even close to the French player.
The third spot goes to another Paris Saint-Germain player: Vitinha. The Portuguese footballer has won everything with the French side and also lifted the Nations League with Portugal. He has 100 points, so he's far from winning the award.
In fourth place is Achraf Hakimi, right back for Paris Saint-Germain with a Madridist past. The Moroccan player has 62 points, as his position penalizes him quite a bit in this type of voting.
The first Real Madrid player appears
The first Real Madrid footballer doesn't appear until seventh place. This is Kylian Mbappé, who has won the Golden Boot, but hasn't lifted major trophies with the white team. The striker has only 25 points, so he's very far from winning the trophy.

Other players ahead of Kylian Mbappé include Nuno Mendes, with 36 points, or Mohamed Salah, who has 52. The Egyptian has achieved worse scoring numbers than the Frenchman, but has managed to lift the Premier League with Liverpool.
Kylian Mbappé is the only Real Madrid player who appears among the top ten footballers, surpassing Donnarumma, Raphinha, or Pedri González. Meanwhile, Vinícius or Jude Bellingham don't even make it into the aforementioned ranking.
