Barça Fans Lash out at Madrid over Iniesta Tribute

Tributes to legends are a fairly common occurrence in the soccer world, even at the highest level, such as in Spanish soccer. In this case, a game between two rival clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona, took place with great references from the past. One of these, of course, was Andrés Iniesta, who was honored in this game.

However, the Barça fans were quite offended by what Real Madrid did in this game. The Barcelona player was given a Real Madrid jersey with his name and number on it. Something that they definitely consider disrespectful, but which the player himself accepted with humility.

Obviously, it's more of a rivalry of hate than anything else from what we've seen from their reaction. Instead of seeing it as an ovation or a reaction of respect alone, they've seen it as disrespecting their person.

They don't even know what to invent anymore

These Barcelona fans definitely take everything too seriously to the point of considering these small gestures as insults. It is well known that Real Madrid had their desire to have this player in their ranks at one time. So it is not a secret.

In a clear gesture of humility, Real Madrid gave away a jersey in honor of his great career and not as a kind of humiliation. However, their inferiority complex always makes them see something negative in everything Real Madrid does.

The match ended with a victory for the Catalans, much to the dismay of the Madridistas, who, despite this, managed to enjoy this encounter. An unforgettable moment for many of the players who put on their teams' jerseys again.
